The short version

Addresses typed into the calculator are never transmitted anywhere. The entire calculation runs inside your browser using data files downloaded with the page. There is no server-side processing, no database of lookups, and no log of what anyone searched for.

What is not collected

• Addresses, closing dates, prices, job titles or years of experience.
• Names, email addresses or accounts — there are none to create.
• Any information about the occupants of any property.

If you copy the link from the address bar after running a calculation, that link contains the values you entered. It was built in your browser. It only goes anywhere if you send it somewhere.

What is collected

Server logs

The web host records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent — as every web server does. These keep the site running and help detect abuse.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before personalised advertising cookies are set.

Analytics

Aggregate traffic measurement may be used to understand which pages are read. It is not tied to anything you type into the calculator, because that never leaves your browser in the first place.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Browser settings can block cookies entirely; the calculator works perfectly well without them. Clearing site data removes anything stored locally.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date above.
